Mesures magazine, a publication of Newsco Group, has announced the winners in ten measurement categories for its annual Technology Awards. METTLER TOLEDO is proud to have won the top spot among an esteemed field of lab equipment entries.
Awards are given to new equipment that represents the highest in technological innovation and takes into account the improvement made for users in terms of accuracy and productivity. In addition to the ten category winners, five special mentions were also made for a total of 15 winning entries. Categories include automation, energy efficiency, industrial computing, and electronic instrumentation.
The announcement was made on October 13th in Paris, preceded by a roundtable discussion on new technologies and the unforeseen benefits they make to the act of measuring. METTLER TOLEDO is pleased that XPR caught the attention of the Mesures judges’ panel.
“XPR offers a critical combination of usability, accuracy and repeatability that is highly prized in industries such as pharma where sample sizes are small and productivity must be maintained,” explained METTLER TOLEDO.
The innovative XPR line itself offers both micro and ultra-micro models. XPR6UD5, the first ultra-micro balance on the market, delivers repeatable 0.5µl resolution, while XPR10 offers an extended 10.1g capacity.
These and other new XPR balances offer 25% better repeatability than traditional microbalances through innovative features such as Active Thermoelectric Cooling (ATC) and ongoing quality-assurance checks.
