MILabs is pleased to announce that its new VECTor6 with Broadband Photon Tomography technique has received the Commercial Innovation Award at the World Molecular Imaging Congress (WMIC) in Seattle September 12th-15th, 2018.
The VECTor6 system advances the state of the art of PET imaging by increasing PET resolution down to 0.55 mm for 18F and by eliminating positron range effects for PET isotopes such as 124I and 82Rb. Moreover, the system can image multiple PET isotopes simultaneously and obtain both spatial and temporal co-registered PET/SPECT and PET/Radiotherapy images, including those of all alpha- and beta-isotopes used in theranostics. Best-in-class in vivo Optical and X-ray CT modalities further complement this innovative 1eV to 1MeV broadband photon tomography system.
Prof Frederik Beekman, CEO/CSO of MILabs commented:
We are very encouraged that the molecular imaging community, including opinion leaders as well as industry peers, have recognized the technological innovations incorporated in our latest product, the VECTor6 system. Especially for PET imaging, this product pushes the boundaries of performance beyond the limits of current preclinical systems.”
