1. The effectiveness of Victoza

    For the past month, I have used victoza and have reduced my blood sugar levels.  I had been increasing my oral diabetic meds before that without success and was afraid that I would not be able to control it but now have new hope with this drug.  I am very sad to say that my insurance will not cover this drug but am going to start a campaign to get support from the insurance companies to cover it.  Not only did I lower the blood sugar levels BUT I have lost weight too, something that I was unable to do and have been researching gastric bypass surgery.  If anyone out there would like any specific info from me, please write.  I WHOLEHEARTEDLY LOVE THIS DRUG and don't feel that I'm sinking into the hole of uncontrollable diabetes.
