    This same Dwight Cavanagh MD, PhD is the subject of a book  "Waking Up Blind: Lawsuits over Eye Surgery".  Cavanagh operated on the wrong eye that went blind. There many lawsuits that were settled for billions of dollars This was all at Emory University.

    I trained at Emory University and I am embarrassed that my peers would give this to anyone that has done all the things outlined in  "Waking Up Blind" by Tom Harbin MD.

    I am disgusted and saddened that Cavanagh got this award.
