Sadly, influenza is not the only illness that causes schizophrenia in unborn children.  Other  illnesses such as herpes-simplex virus 2, toxoplasma gondii (the kitty litter parasite) rubella, famine and fever also cause schizophrenia in offspring.  Dr. Robert Yolken at John's Hopkins University Department of pediatric neurovirology has been documenting his research and undeniable finding for years, somehow the medical field doesn't think this is important. Shame on them.  We have 45 million people with HSV-2 alone, and doctors are allowing environmental factors such as common illnesses to cause a genetic link to mental illness.  The research is already done.  We need to understand this connection and take action.
