    there should be a more precise description of inclusion criteria; i.e. whether birth records were examined in any child prior to determination of AHT; whether there were any difficulties with the birth to contribute to previous bleeds in head, whether there was any evaluation of the risk of pre-injury head bleeds (peer reviewed articles indicate that up to 46% of babies born without complications have a head bleed at birth)  etc.    what this study does is evaluate the costs of treating a baby with the triad of symptoms of SBS; it indicates that more babies are coming in with the triad of symptoms.
