    i love this article ! i would like to be  able to help with research studies i have had pku since 11/04/1964!! was never diagnosed till later in life started diet when iwas 39 years of age!! hate my diet but have to do it i keep gaining weight  thougn dont understand why??? i eat like a bird please eamil me back!!

      my daughter is going to be 6 years old and has just been diagnosed with PKU. she has lack of concentration.  as you were diagnosed at the age of 39, didn't you have any problems regarding concentration and etc. till that age? my daughter has just started her suplement and diet.  I wonder if this change in diet will bring any improvement to her concentration? she has had developmental delay.
      will she be any better?
