    Cod liver oil contains nearly toxic levels of vitamin A, a confirmed confounder of vitamin D receptors (VDRs).

    If this is the case in Copenhagen, and it probably is, place the research in the circular file.

    And for heaven's sake avoid sub-clinical vitamin A toxicity via cod liver oil supplementation!
