No one mentioned this to me when my daughter was born in '97.  The one I remembered the most was the one I had of gaming my newborn daughter with a knife as I was going down the stairs one morning.  It literally stopped me in my tracks.  I r remember thinking how it was right out of a horror movie.  I mentally told myself " boy that was weird." And I was able to shake it off and not give it another thought.  I figured it was just my hormones kicking my protective mother's instinct into overdrive to help me keep this tiny helpless human alive.
