    Demodex mites are harmful when an over population occurs. I have been fighting them for several years and I am a former health care worker. They started on my eyelids and because I have several autoimmune disorders one being hypothyroidism found from reading endless articles found out it was likely going to be a long battle. I for one do not look on them as harmless but believe if not for my autoimmune issues may have rid myself of them by now. I did not know they even existed till they struck me with their numbers which led me to start reading extensively about them. I agree NOT CUTE if you have to deal with them and t
