    Less invasive treatments are now being offered that do not have the side effects of surgery. Many of the HIFU, (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) cases are now being done with focal therapy where only a portion of the prostate is treated, leaving the prostate intact with no side effects. Making men aware of the fact they have other choices for treatment is now the challenge.
