    Hopefully with increased awareness around the sexual side effects, not only will patients be more prepared of what to expect, but medical professionals will know to probe about sexual issues when meeting with a patient. All too often sexuality is overlooked, and many patients will not volunteer the information unless they are asked.

    In our work treating female sexual dysfunction at the Medical Center for Female Sexuality in New York, we often meet women who have been through illness and are suffering sexual side effects as a result.  Unfortunately, their doctors never asked about the sexuality piece, and the experience made them feel confused and isolated in their symptoms.

    Thank you for helping increasing knowledge around this important issue.
