    I know it's mainly about SCI, but it would have been relevant to mention the significance of senescent cell accumulation, and how the original research has been linked to slowing/reversal of aging in multiple tissues throughout the body.

    Senolytic drugs extend healthy lifespan in mice, even when given in old age. IMO this is such a unique finding in biomed research that deserves mention, even if SCI is not an age-associated disease.
