    Dear Susan, I am sorry to learn that your mom has acromegaly and is suffering so much.  I live in England and so unfortunately I am not familiar with doctors in Alabama.  If you haven't already done so, I suggest you contact the Pituitary Network Association at www.pituitary.org  Best wishes and I hope your mom finds the right treatment plan for her.  Jon Danzig
