Abstinence programs do work, but a liberal media does not report it.  Lack of developmental assets (including encouragement to abstain like the body of the article admitted) is key to kids waiting.  Unless an authentic SRA (sexual risk avoidance) program is in place, students are not being taught all the various reasons why waiting to have sex is in their best interest...physically, emotionally, academically, and for their future relationships.  In fact HHS recently did a study on Pres. Obama's "evidence-based" teen pregnancy prevention programs and the vast majority of them showed no effect or worse.
