Despite claims to the contrary, in essence, Delta Dental is a for Profit insurance company.  Their goal is to maximize benefits to THEIR employees not to their subscribers.  In the last ten years their net worth has grown from 7 million dollars to over 50 million dollars. Yet, their cry is that they need to limit benefits and raise rates.  Why does the net worth of this non-profit continue to rise precipitously?  Unlike a for profit company-this one does not benefit the shareholders but it's employees, Dr. Levicki, was reported in a report to the SCC of VA to have a pay package worth over 1 million dollars.  Delta may be a non for profit organization-but that doesn't mean that it's not out to enrich certain individuals.  Lower rates and increased benefits should be this non-profits role.  Instead their assets grow geometrically.  Please let us deal with the for profits instead-at least a large percentage of Americans own stock in those companies and thereby benefit from their profits!
