So hookah (which is basically smoking as there is combustion) is bad for people health and Dr. Weitzman cites in the same sentence e-cigarette (which has nothing to do with hookah or smoking as there is no combustion and no tobacco) makes vaping dangerous ?
Please stop relaying such non-sense and disinformation, especially in medical news. You are writers, you understand how amalgam works.

You could even understand that such a bad article is very dangerous for public health as confusing a benign product as eCigs with a dangerous one like hookah is undermining effort of public health to inform clearly the public on the risks associated with smoking any form of tobacco (or other plants).

It's very sad to read that University of Oregon/NYU employ such incompetent people and that you make a confusion between what a some MD says and what Jama publishes as the article cited is far from this confusion and far from drawing any conclusion, especially noting mostly hypothetical personal concerns from the author and the weakness of any link between eCigarette and smoking (but witnessing a potential huge reduction in smoking for adults, including by nature young smokers) from the study.
