    Well, they are right, but I say, follow a low carb diet high in unsaturated fats.  I believe that this type of low carb diet may yield the same fast weight loss, yet at the same time, unclog arteries, and your tryglicerides will drop, as well have high HDL levels.

    In other words, low carb diets rich in fish, vegetables, nuts, with some fruits and whole grains in moderation.

    And take breaks in your diet every 2 or 3 weekends.

    And yea, this is not a license to eat all the sausages and bacon and butter.
