1. South Florida Swingers South Florida Swingers United States says:

Class action lawsuits have been filed around the country against the DEA and states that are trying to suppress the amount of opioids prescribed.

Just because some people abuse something or get addicted and these people die is no reason to immediately jump to regulations to restrict or put into prohibition status.

So basically you're going to drive people underground to obtain prescription medication illegally or they're going to switch to heroin or another street drug of choice.

You have to determine what of the two lesser evils is the better choice here over-prescribing of legal prescription medicine and causing addiction and overdose or restricting legal medicine and causing patients to get illicit drugs to alleviate their pain level and overdose from that.

The point I'm making is you cannot stop either from happening people will continue overdosing and dying until the end of time, you just have to realize that that amount of people is miniscule in comparison to the amount of population the planet or in this case the United States has.

Stop fighting a futile and unwinnable War.
