    I believe the first scientific reference cited above has been retracted.  I'm not sure the rather serious conclusion Hidaya Aliouche reaches in this article wrests on objective information.  I'm not saying it is wrong, but it seems speculative.  5htp has been studied extensively and conclusions would have more foundation if based on this direct study.  Finally, it would help greatly to have a date attached to an article like this.  For example, if the date precedes the retraction, that would help the reader.  Thank you.  William Owens, Ph.D.
