    I am a 44 yr old female that is 28 years roux en y post op. I was 15 during the surgery. There were no long term care plans. I really didn't realize the magnitude of the surgery. I have severe complications ain addition to regaining weight. My iron deficiency is at a chronic level. Vitamins do not help, I take Iron infusions. I have bone loss, b12 deficiency, and congestive heart failure due to a low blood count. At 15 I could not make my own choice. Looking back I wish they would have left me alone. My life is impaired because of complications.
