I found it very interesting how much more prevalent chills are in the literature... As a young teen I'd experience them listening to some epic or moving music that really resonated with my emotional state, or by watching an epic scene in a movie. But it was rare to find others experiencing the same thing searching online or by asking friends. Maybe it's what others might describe as a profound or religious experience. All the hair on my arms stand up and I feel connected to a surge of energy from all around me... As if the inside of my body is vibrating with energy and emotion. A brief connection with the divine if you will.
