    Because some patients attribute their ME/CFS viral source to COVID vaccines as well as Long COVID, this research can be a critical element in restoring the damaged relationship between the medical community and the public.  The success of future vaccine deployments could well depend heavily on the ability of researchers to identify the exact causes and reliable treatments for ME/CFS.  In addition, the credibility of national public health policy is very much at stake here.  Wish you the best of luck on this grant.
