    As a spouse I felt so pushed out of my wife’s care. I was allowed to go to the clinic with her but no further. She asked if I could go back with her for her Mammogram, was told no. Why. Is it the motto of these breast cancer institutions to Get em in Get em out Bill em? Finely one of my wife’s MDs listened to her and got it. Made a path so I could be with her on any diagnostic procedure, if she wanted.
    You can't expect men to sit on a couch outside and have nothing to do with her care and then wonder what’s wrong. The husband needs to feel valued; this is his best friend and life partner. Of course we get depressed.
