    I'm a LBKA (Left Below Knee Amputee for those not in the know). My insurance will not cover any kind of sports prosthetics like a (running blade) or more advanced feet that would allow for a greater range of motion. I think it's ridiculous that we have to settle for something to "get by" and have a "kinda" normal life. I think it's stupid that the prosthetics that can help people live a more normal and healthier life aren't covered because they're not medically necessary when those devices will help people improve their physical and mental health which ultimately reduces the need for medical care.
