Since when did the DEA decide they know more about pain management than your PCP? And why does my perfectly competent PCP have to turn me over to a pain management specialist who is basically involved in a racket that makes the days of the Dr Feelgoods seem like better medicine? I am so livid with all this that I am going to go to my old alma mater, where I got a masters degree in biology and recruit some grad students to get some actually factual statistics about the so called opioid crisis.
