Genetic link supports my experience. Both my wife and her brother are sensitive to noise. For example, someone sniffing, eating popcorn, or whispering behind them in movie theaters gets them on edge. My brother-in-law puts his hands behind his ears like blinders to try to silence the noise. She makes me move away from the "perpetrators". I find I naturally ignore them without a problem.

Pls... pls... come up with a cure for this dreaded genetic disorder so I can watch a movie without embarrassment.
