    I have advanced a theory, based on my own laboratory findings, that the ubiquitous commensal virus HHV-6 is responsible for a variety of diseases. Chronologically, these are first Roseola, then autism and ASD, then some childhood encephalomyelitides, then childhood and adult multiple sclerosis. and finally PML with JC virus as the activating agent rather than the primary cause. This information can be used to block and reverse the autism epidemic. Unfortunately, there is no good treatment or drug for HHV-6. If Blakely's new work on p38aMAPK pans out, then a treatment may be available at last. Kudos to him and his team.
