This is a great article. My mother recently totally healthy with no underlying conditions suddenly and rapidly declined in health 6-8 months prior to Covid-19 after going to Saudi Arabia. She has displayed these exact symptomns now after testing positive for Covid along side what looked like pulmonary fibrosis - She is on supplimental oxygen. Just standing she can drop to 70% - She has had blood clots detected and I am inject dialy blood thinners. She is on no other medecine or care. I think she may have caught MERS but it went undetected and has also been hit by Covid. She is showing signs of Type 1 Lung Failiure to. Is there anything I could do for her or is there someone out in the field that could help us understand if she has hope to be treated or if it is to late. I am just suprised here in the UK she has been left to no treament other than self manage at home and wait potential lung transplant. There is no focus on slowing down or improving her symptomns which I can see if could be done she would be able to live a somewhat independent life style. If you have any advice that would be really appreciated.
