... in response to Many teachers bullied at school
  1. Michelle Michelle United States says:

Give me a break -- some 40 criteria?  My sister is a principal, and she's not supposed to ask questions of her staff, when something appears to be not quite right?  I am a high school science teacher of many years, in a school far distant from her, and I'm not supposed to raise my eyebrows when a peer down the hallway is making a huge "judgement error"?  Yes, there is plenty of bullying going on, but has anyone thought to incorporate the overall growing childish mentality of workers in this country?  These are the teachers who pretty much ran their families when they were kids, and when their antics or sheer laziness are called by someone on administration, they go all slit-eyed and foul-mouthed, and cry "Bullying!"  Uh uh, I'm not buying into this article at all, Professor Duncan.  Instead. look into REAL workplace bullying:  a teacher who is ostracized by his or her peers for trying to teach students, follow simple school rules (eg. not dressing like a floozy) and trying to be friendly to everyone.
