1. Why are our strengths considered deficits

    My ability to find joy in repetitive tasks are a wonderful asset in manufacturing, medical records and construction. I prefer a blunt communication style. My difficulty in communication mainly stems from the fact that I do not have similar social references as neurotypical persons.  I don't like to gossip, I prefer books to popular media, and I prefer deep  thought over superficial communication.
    As said, these are strengths. The trick is finding a teacher or manager who knows how to use them.
