1. Worse off than ever

    My knee replacement in 2006 made me more disabled than ever.  I would not wish the discomfort I have every single day of my life on anyone.  My knee is stiff as a board, swells up if I stand for more than a few minutes, I can't walk any distance and the docs tell me that the scar tissue which formed almost immediately post-op is permanent.  I know many people have good results after knee replacement but I was not one of them.
