I am now 75 years old.
I was born in 1949 as the third child of my mother and father, in London.  I was tagged as a Rhesus baby since I am told that my skin was orange in colour at birth and  I spent a lot of my early life visiting hospital clinics, and I had shingles as a result of chicken pox. , I remember that being most unpleasant.
I feel that I am lucky because I have avoided many serious health outcomes that may have been dangerous for me.
As it was I had a good schooling in grammar schools, and I partnered my husband in our own successful business during the dawning of barcoding and label printing  for  hospitals and commercial  and  industrial clients.
Now both living on the Gold Coast of Australia as independent retirees, I am being checked for the early symptom's of Alzheimer’s, but I believe it to be in its early stages since I experienced  my mother’s demise in England  with  Alzheimer’s in her later years at 80 and 95 years old and I will do everything I can to avoid such an ending to my life.
Last week I underwent a nuclear pet scan , so I am hoping to keep my Australian drivinglicence.
