    "The system has been shown to restore the perception of bilateral hearing and address consequences of SSD." This is inaccurate. The described non-surgical solutions enable hearing sounds from the deaf side by bone conduction through the skull to the good ear. They can't correct for lack of sound localization or for selectively listening to one voice in a crowd. But simply being able to hear sound on both sides is a big improvement.
