    Thank you for a clearly written article. It lacks however a consideration of a laboratory origin of the virus. Given that virus genomes so far compared to SARS-Cov-2 existing in other species offer no or very little credible base for a contender, and given that there is considerable evidence that not only the Wuhan P4 lab, but also other (possibly military) labs were actively conducting research on this family of viruses, any serious study must include access to the work of these labs.
    To date, sadly, this has not been possible.
