I do not have acromegaly or anything but I came across this article and I think you did an excellent with everything you put into it.  I'm sorry that you have acromegaly, I wish the disease didn't exist because it does so many horrible things to people; that's why my heart breaks for Andre the Giant. I'm a huge Andre the Giant fan and I know he had the disease as well. I've always wondered tho, how come he didn't get his treated; was it because treatment at his time was not available or if it was his own preference not to get treated.  Either way, I feel sad for him because he was not able to get treatment. I agree with your conclusion and I believe that more research in treatment and diagnosing needs to be more on going than it is now. many acromegaly patients lives are depending on it.  I wish you all the best and I really enjoyed your article.
