This shows just some of the work being done by Prof. Cyndi Weickert and I think she is doing an awesome job in her research. She has dedicated her life to schizophrenia research and feels the day may be close when people are "cured" from this illness, knowing that there will be a need for several different approaches as all schizophrenics do not respond the same to the same treatment. I also appreciate Dr. Weickert's comforting feeling of hope and optimism and I also like her calling for more to be done for people right now to improve their quality of life.  Doctors need to do more than just diagnose and give their patients a bunch of toxic drugs.
