1. Empirical correlation is opposite to this research finding

    Looking at the blood-type map for Europe (1), and the Covid-19 death statistics for Europe (2), one actually sees an empirical correlation of stronger Type-O with higher death, opposite to what this article says was reported by this paper.  Could either the article or the paper have misinterpreted the key findings of the research study?
