    This sounds very intriguing...except to find these at-risk youth and treat them with neuro-cog training which is effective (only ?) BEFORE  symptoms occur requires a radical shift in traditional diagnosis of psychiatric disorders to occur first. The currend (ancient and moribund) 'symptom cluster' model does not allow for 'predictions'; the symptoms need to be present and observed (ADD/ADHD before age 12 in DSM-V) to meet criteria for diagnosis and diagnostic-specific intervention.
    However, this sounds like some really wonderful hope for the (10+ years hence?) future.
