    What a relief! after being put on medication for high blood pressure, then an increased dose then a different med then an increased dose and finding all this meds with one caused alzeimers type symptoms making me non-functional,the other while ok on a low dose caused a major depressive /suicidal episode I nearly couldnt resist'[with dose increase]. I have an agreement with my doc to stay on low dose. But have no intention of adding any other medication. Reading your post has strenghthened my resolve. I am a slim healthy eater who is not a couch potato and these meds seem to have made little difference to my b. p.One meds dose increase did in fact increase my b.p. by 20 points.
