    Professor Hajek is one of the world's leading experts in smoking cessation and is in no small part responsible for the support that is now available in many countries, especially the UK. His analysis is sound. It is ironic that some public health activists who are mostly not experts in this topic are doing the tobacco industry's dirty work in trying to stamp out this threat to their monopoly on nicotine dependence.
