Well, for one I am tired of paying more taxes to send other peoples kids to school and for highways I don't use and whatever pet project the local political bigwigs want. I pay my own health care costs and don't smoke around those that do not smoke. So if I can enjoy my smoke in a reasonal manner and not endanger them with my smoke, then why do people I do not know have a right to make me pay more in taxes on smokes. I don't ask them for more money when they let their kids drink and drive and kill and maim while doing so. So tax booze if you need to pentalize a group of consumers. Drunks by far do more harm to you and your kids than my smoking.
