    Could you confirm that researchers have not managed to cure X-linked RP in dogs but slow its progression?  Slow in progression is good but is far from being a cure.  Imagine if you had a bad dose of influenza; were laid up in bed, with no appetite and a raging temperature.  Would you consider yourself cured, if your condition just didn't get any worse? Headlines like this are cruelly misleading.
