    I received the CRT-D implant March 14, 2013 at the International Heart Institute at Missoula, MT. I am so grateful to my doctors and to this device which has saved my life. Until I read the booklet which came with it, I did not actually realize how fragile my heart was, although in June, 2012, my cardiologist, Dr. Brad Berry, told me I had a "very sick heart". If anyone is offered a chance to have this amazing device, I strongly urge them to take advantage of it. The surgery was easy, the recovery is fast, the outlook is wonderful. I feel so blessed. Thank you, St. Jude, and all the rest!
