I understand the purpose of the article and what it contains. But who is the target audience? Are you trying to help someone, or are you rather trying to impress someone?

This is an example of why normal people don't read or trust experts or scientists - an utter lack of ability to discuss things in an easy to understand way.

The goal of the article was to stop the stigma that all ultra processed food is the same. But a normal person's eyes would have glazed over and they would have abandoned reading before the end of the second paragraph.

If you were looking for brownie points from your peers, then the article was fine. If you're looking to impact lives, then consider writing at a lower level where people can digest it more easily.
