1. Emily Emily United States says:

It should be illegal to inflate the prices of medications this much. When I was in college I thought I had an intestinal parasite and my doctor prescribed me medication for it. When I went to the pharmacy the guy said it would be $800 for two pills. I laughed. I thought he was joking. When I realized he was serious I just cried. There was nothing I could do. I didn't have insurance or a job. I was barely scraping by and now I had this creature inside of me making me sick and I just had to live with it. Destroyed my mental health. I just started eating raw garlic (which illicited an intense reaction. My whole body would turn red, I'd start sweating and puking profusely). But it was the only thing I could do. Felt so lost and hopeless. Why do American citizens deserve this?
