This is misleading information. It is not proven that hysterectomy/oophorectomy causes any of the major health conditions listed above except for rapid, early bone loss/osteoporosis (quality of life issues, hot flashes, loss of libido are another matter). But the low estrogen levels that come with ovary removal have not proven to cause or hasten heart disease or dementia. Many times, it is POORER health at baseline (more obesity, diabetes, hypertension and other CV risk factors) that presage the need for hysterectomy/oophorectomy in the first place. Endometriosis, fibroids, and even cancer are all caused by too MUCH estrogen, often an end result of obesity. So these women have a higher baseline risk of developing heart disease anyway. Plus, estrogen replacement, even in younger women, does not reduce the risk of heart disease and, especially in pill form, raises the risk of stroke, blood clots, dementia, and breast cancer (after very long term use exceeding 15-20+ years).

It is true that many big observational studies point to health risks from hysterectomy/oophorectomy, but several have not, namely the WHI, which showed no increased risks of cancer, heart disease, memory loss, or Parkinson's. Breast and ovarian cancers are consistently reduced following hysterectomy, even without oophorectomy.
