    I was looking on information about how bipolar disorder seems to vanish after a stroke. My mother had Bipolar 1 disorder. She was an absolute nightmare to live with as she would not take meds. After her left frontal lobe stroke, she was completely different! Calm, polite, sweet, loving, and even forgot she was a 3 pack per day smoker!  Just wondered if there are any other cases like this?
