The Biosen C-Line Clinic and Biosen C-Line GP+ are the two models in the Biosen glucose analyzer series. They are a well-known and trusted brand in laboratories, sports medicine, scientific research, and diabetes clinics.
Biosen analyzers can be produced as dual-channel systems that measure lactate simultaneously or as single-channel glucose systems.
Using a unique chip sensor technology, Biosen provides quick, highly accurate measurements at a low cost per test. The system requires little maintenance because of the sensor chip's long lifespan, and features like the color touch screen and large memory make the Biosen analyzer more user-friendly.
Every Biosen analyzer has an encrypted Ethernet, USB, and RS252C interface for connecting to lab or hospital information systems (LIS) and middleware like EKF Link. The Biosen C-Line Clinic has a standard integrated barcode reader, and both models support printer connectivity via RS232C or EKF Link and EKF Link Lite.
With a broad measurement range and exceptional precision (less than 3% CV), Biosen can test whole blood, plasma, or serum to provide glucose and lactate values.
The Biosen C-Line comes in two models. Each was created for a distinct set of circumstances. The Clinic and GP+ are part of the Biosen C-Line.
- Sports facilities, clinics, or labs with a moderate demand for sample testing (up to 20 samples) can use the Clinic.
- The GP+ is intended as a POCT device (up to five samples) in small clinics and surgeries with low sample testing requirements.
- The system is available in a single-channel or dual-channel configuration and can measure glucose, lactate, or both.
