GSTM1 and GSTT1 null genotypes not associated with increased risk of GC or CRC in Koreans

The glutathione S-transferase M1 (GSTM1) and glutathione S-transferase T1 (GSTT1) null genotypes have been linked to increased risk of developing cancer. The results regarding the association between GSTM1 and GSTT1 null genotypes and the risk of GC or CRC were contradictory.

New study to examine physical activity and dietary behavior of colorectal cancer patients

In an effort to build the groundwork for future research on health promotion among individuals with colorectal and other cancers, a team of investigators at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) has launched a new study examining patterns in physical activity and eating habits of colorectal cancer patients who have recently finished treatment. CINJ is a Center of Excellence of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
